@NCancellable@itsmamarose26 Being heckled versus calling black athletes thugs for common fouls during a game against a white player you like. Continue being dense about what’s going on.
@Albert4Truth@DanLaMontagne@RomeovilleKid You showed three individuals involved in criminal activity, please point to one instance of Reese , Carrington, Carter committing a criminal offense during a game that would require action.
@itsmamarose26 Which is why the anger of seeing the behavior is towards her “fan base” and not her. Every WNBA player that her “fans” claim hate her have all said the same thing, she’s fine it’s her fan base.
@Albert4Truth@DanLaMontagne@RomeovilleKid lol you don’t know the historical context of pushing black criminality onto behavior that isn’t criminal which has lead to deaths of thousands of black people in this country, that has nothing to do with black folks and everything to do with your ignorance.
@Albert4Truth@DanLaMontagne@RomeovilleKid Except for the fact that every player on the court signed a contract that states they’re at risk of injury and physical contact. It’s not violence it’s participation in a contact sport.
I asked #IndianaFever star Caitlin Clark about the racism and other hate #WNBA players have endured this season:
“Nobody in our league should be facing any sort of racism, hurtful, disrespectful, hateful comments and threats. Those aren’t fans. Those are trolls. …”
@itsmamarose26 People absolutely can support who they choose but if you’re claiming to grow the league and a considerable amount of your online fans are saying they in fact don’t care for the growth of the league you start to find yourself in a pickle.
