The Rough Riders finished with 12 wrestlers placing in the top 6, earning Division 1 All-Conference Honors. 7 placing in the top 4, have now punched their ticket to the Nassau County Championships and 3 finishing in 5th are eligible for a wildcard to the County championships.

Can’t say enough about this incredible crew. The bonds, relationships, the highs and lows, and most of all…the memories created and lessons learned along this journey. Time to leave it all on the mat tomorrow. Nassau County Qualifiers at Long Beach HS at 9:30 am.

The Rough Riders varsity wrestling team took the perseverance to a new level this weekend! After a tough loss Friday night, they go out and earn 9 medals,a 4th place team finish and numerous upsets over top ranked opponents at the Ted Peterson tourn. @SuptWortham @RooseveltUfsd
