In my reading groups I have a weekly challenge to donate as many grains of rice on @Freerice. One student donated over 1000 grains in a week on top of turning in all other assignments on time! When asked what she wanted as a reward, she choose a cactus!! #wawmproud #timewellspent

Then I realized that it is very important for me to highlight those moments. Tell the students how that has changed my day, week, or even month. I NEED TO TELL THEM I AM HAPPY TO SEE THEM EVEN IF IT IS OVER A COMPUTER SCREEN!

Today in the STEAM Comm, we met @BarrowmanCrime! She shared her writing processes and how she gets her ideas for her books and graphic novels to help Ss write their own creative pieces in BL! Safe to say our Ss are very interested in your books! Thank you, Carole!!! #WAWMproud
