Around 9:50 PM on GKVK Road, I saw three scooters doing wheelies. All of them had their number plates covered with black stickers. Why would anyone hide their number plates unless they wanted to avoid being identified?

This is the second time I'm seeing the government offer a 50% discount on pending traffic challans. Does repeatedly offering such discounts reduce the deterrent effect of traffic enforcement?

The government has collected crores in traffic fines over the years. How has that money been used? If a significant portion was invested in installing CCTV cameras and improving enforcement, shouldn't there also be stricter action against dangerous riding and tampering with number plates?

Petrol at the Shell petrol bunk costs ₹127 per litre. Why are they charging so much more than other petrol bunks for the same E20 petrol? Does it provide better mileage than petrol from other bunks?

Watching some family drama among friends made me realize one thing, sometimes, people who end up lonely in old age are facing the consequences of their own actions. They favor one child, even when that child does wrong, while neglecting the child who genuinely cares. Later, they cry and say, We raised them, cared for them, and they left us alone. But karma has a way of reflecting how we treat the people closest to us.

An incident similar to Siya Goyal's case happened in Karnataka. A newly married couple had gone sightseeing when the wife pushed her husband into a river. Fortunately, local people rescued him. After being saved, he said, I didn't slip, she pushed me.
I don't know what happened afterward, maybe they separated. But if someone wants to leave a marriage, they should end the relationship, not try to end a life.

I don't know if I'm living in imagination or reality. Both feel real. I clearly remember Toxic releasing in theaters on the 6th of this month. I even checked it on BookMyShow, and I remember seeing an IMDb rating of 7.8, I was planning to go watch it, but I didn't. Now I'm seeing that the movie is actually scheduled to release on August 26, 2026. How could I remember planning to watch, and even checking the rating of a movie that hadn't been released? It's genuinely confusing. Has anyone else ever experienced something like this?

Uber should remove drivers who demand extra money after the trip has already started. They don't mention it before the ride, and once you're on the way, you have no real choice, either pay extra or get dropped off midway while still being charged the original fare. This is unfair to passengers.

That's why I don't trust people who approach passengers directly at railway stations saying, Sir, auto beka? Cab beka? When apps already exist to connect drivers and customers, there's often a reason some choose not to use them.

For safety, people should prioritize booking through Uber or Rapido. At least you have the driver's details and trip records. If something goes wrong, it's much easier to report it to both the police and the platform.

I find it frustrating when parents reject their daughter's choice of partner and start looking for someone else for her to marry. Then, if she leaves home to be with the person she loves, they start crying and claiming they're worried about her, even though they ignored her wishes in the first place.

Booked an Uber cab. Driver accepted the trip and was only about 500 meters away. Instead of heading toward the pickup location, he immediately called me. I didn't answer and cancelled the ride. I then booked an auto, and the driver came directly without calling.

Why do some drivers call before pickup when they already have the pickup location, destination, and fare details in the app?

The transition to ethanol blended fuels should be gradual, not forced. Today, pure petrol is practically unavailable in most places. Instead of removing choices, policy should offer multiple fuel options and let people adapt over time.

A man wanted to sit beside me on the train. I had kept my plastic bottle and food containers with me so I could throw them in a dustbin when I got down at the station. He told me to simply throw them out the window.
