Here’s a quick fact check of 11 (of the) false claims President Trump made to the US military on an aircraft carrier in Japan this morning:
- Grocery prices aren’t “way down.” They’re up.
- Inflation hasn’t been “defeated.” It’s rising.
- Trump hasn’t secured “$17 trillion” in investment. The US doesn't have "92%" of Gulf of Mexico/America shoreline. (Alleged) drug boats don’t each kill “25,000 people.” All of these figures are fictional.
- Trump didn’t win the 2020 election he lost.
- Trump didn’t end eight wars. It’s also not true that no other president ever ended a war.
- Biden didn’t let in 25 million migrants. Biden didn’t claim to be a pilot. Inflation under Biden peaked at the worst in 40 years but was never close to the worst in history.

1. Republicans/right-wing media spent weeks blaming discrete acts of political violence on incitement by overheated Democratic rhetoric.
2. They are currently arguing that nationwide protests planned for tomorrow are "Hate America" rallies by antifa/pro-Hamas/communist agents.
Americans want a fairer economy. Trump Republicans won’t deliver one.
Instead, Trump and his allies are readying more tax cuts for big corporations and the wealthy and regulatory rollbacks.
They’re preparing to hand the country over to billionaires.
Be warned.
People can’t afford housing, health care, or to send their kids to college — and they can’t get by on one job.
They’re understandably upset because the system is rigged in favor of the rich & powerful. It’s time to show poor & working people that we’re actually working FOR them.
Trump’s team claimed that their tax cuts would boost household income by $4,000.
But research shows that the lowest paid workers saw no change in earnings. Meanwhile, exec salaries increased sharply.
Trump and Republicans want to double down on yet another trickle-down scam.
The biggest change over the last four decades — the change lurking behind the insecurities and resentments of the working class — has nothing to do with wokeism or any other Republican bogeymen.
It has directly to do with a huge shift in the distribution of income and wealth.
If you make less than $360,000 per year, your taxes will actually INCREASE under Donald Trump.
Anyone making more than $360,000 will get a tax cut.
Trump's pitching more trickle-down economic nonsense, but please tell me again that he's the candidate for working people.
Trump’s closing message is a full blown hate campaign against black and brown people. Historians will look back in astonishment that this terrifying reality wasn’t the subject of wall to wall coverage and commentary in weeks leading up to this election. He’s not hiding anything.
Just 150 billionaire families have poured $1.4 billion into this year's elections.
On average these super-rich families have spent $9.2M in political contributions — just 0.06% of their total wealth.
The equivalent donation for a typical household would be ~$120.
Oligarchy.
There is no denying it at this point: Twitter is a propaganda arm of the Trump campaign. Elon Musk is quite explicitly allowing for the distribution of misinformation against Kamala Harris while actively suppressing information that could potentially hurt Donald Trump.
Texas has purged about 500K eligable voters from voter rolls
Nebraska potentially changing its Electoral count to winner take all so they all go Red
Georgia is requiring 5-6M votes be counted by hand
Red states have closed more than 10,000 polling locations in Black/Latino neighborhoods
This is how Republicans are organizing to steal the election
When right-wing scum tried to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer, Republicans made excuses.
When a lunatic beat Paul Pelosi with a hammer, they made jokes.
And when Trump sent a mob to attack the Capitol, they made up lies.
Don’t lecture us about condemning violence.
.@mcuban: Trump "will connect to you at a visceral level and understand what your fears are and sell you on fixing those fears... If I can get you to become afraid of Haitians, of Black people, of Jews, then I can sell you on the fact that I'm your guy."

Project 2025 would eliminate this.
