One thing they don’t tell you or prepare you for when you graduate is the fact you need to find a side hustle/career that makes you truly happy. You’ll audition better too knowing that you don’t desperately need that performing job to bring happiness into your life

Theatre should be representing realistic lives on stage, instead we’re still using characteurs and physical stereotypes to help an audience to place characters. That isn’t representing real life, it’s exploitative and demeaning.
