اَسْتَغْفِرُاللّٰهَ رَبِّیْ مِنْ كُلِّ زَنْبٍ وَّ اَتُوْبُ اِلَيْهِ ۞

میں الله سے اپنے ہر گناہ کی بخشش طلب کرتا ہوں ، جو میرا رب ہے اور میں توبہ کرتا ہوں ۔

Does he not know that Allah sees him?

رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ ♣

"Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people."

وَ اِبْرَاهِیْمَ الَّذِیْ وَفَّیٰ ۞

And of Abraham who fulfilled the commandments?

رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلۡ مِنَّا ؕ اِنَّکَ اَنۡتَ السَّمِیۡعُ الۡعَلِیۡمُ ﴿۱۲۸﴾

‘Our Lord, accept this from us; for Thou art All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

اے ہمارے رب ! ہماری طرف سے قبول کرلے ۔ یقیناً تو ہی بہت سننے والا اور دائمی علم رکھنے والا ہے۔

وَ اِذۡ تَاَذَّنَ رَبُّکُمۡ لَئِنۡ شَکَرۡتُمۡ لَاَزِیۡدَنَّکُمۡ ✨

‘If you are grateful, I will, surely, bestow more favours on you'.

اگر تم شکر ادا کرو گے تو میں ضرور تمہیں بڑھاؤں گا ۔

لَیۡلَۃُ الۡقَدۡرِ خَیۡرٌ مِّنۡ اَلۡفِ شَہۡرٍ ✨

“The night of destiny is better than a thousand months.”

یہ (عظیم الشان) تقدیر والی والی رات تو ہزار مہینے سے بھی بہتر ہے.

رَبِّ ہَبۡ لِیۡ حُکۡمًا وَّاَلۡحِقۡنِیۡ بِالصّٰلِحِیۡنَ✨

 ‘My Lord, bestow wisdom on me and join me with the righteous;

اے میرے ربّ! مجھے حکمت عطا کر اور مجھے نیک لوگوں میں شامل کر-

یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا کُتِبَ عَلَیۡکُمُ الصِّیَامُ کَمَا کُتِبَ عَلَی الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِکُمۡ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَتَّقُوۡنَ(128)

O ye who believe! fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you so that you may become righteous.

شَہۡرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِیۡۤ اُنۡزِلَ فِیۡہِ الۡقُرۡاٰنُ ہُدًی لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَیِّنٰتٍ مِّنَ الۡہُدٰی وَالۡفُرۡقَانِ ۚ (12

The month of Ramadan is that in which the Qur’an was sent down as a guidance for mankind with clear proofs of guidance and discrimination.

وَ مَا عَلَیۡنَاۤ اِلَّا الۡبَلٰغُ الۡمُبِیۡنُ ﴿۱۸﴾

‘And on us lies only the plain delivery of the Message.’

اور ہم پر کھول کھول کر بات پہنچانے کے سوا کوئی ذمہ داری نہیں۔

اِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا الذِّکۡرَ وَ اِنَّا لَہٗ لَحٰفِظُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰﴾

Verily, We Ourself have sent down this Exhortation, and most surely We will be its Guardian.

یقیناً ہم نے ہی یہ ذکر اُتارا ہے اور یقیناً ہم ہی اس کی حفاظت کرنے والے ہیں۔

فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبٰنِ ﴿۱۴﴾

Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will you twain deny, O men and Jinn?

پس (اے جن و اِنس) تم دونوں اپنے ربّ کی کس کس نعمت کا انکار کرو گے۔

اور اس دن سے ڈرو جس میں تم اللہ کی طرف لوٹائے جاؤ گے۔ پھر ہر جان کو جو اُس نے کمایا پورا پورا دیا جائے گا اور وہ ظلم نہیں کئے جائیں گے۔

وَاتَّقُوۡا یَوۡمًا تُرۡجَعُوۡنَ فِیۡہِ اِلَی اللّٰہِ ٭
ثُمَّ تُوَفّٰی کُلُّ نَفۡسٍ مَّا کَسَبَتۡ وَ ہُمۡ لَا یُظۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۲۸۲﴾

And fear the day when you shall be made to return to Allah; then shall every soul be paid in full what it has earned; and they shall not be wronged.
