There is literally no one more self important than a 30-something processing engineer at the airport bar on a work phonecall. Like sir. We can all tell how impressed you are with yourself for saying things like "verification" and "ICI" but could ya just hush?
I had to send a super scary email today (like scarier than usual) and I saw SO MANY motivational quotes that I did it!! I'd like to thank all the girlies reposting motivational content, strangers hyping me up was exactly what I needed today.
I think I have too effectively overcome anxiety. Every time I have a nervous thought nowadays, I think to myself, "Ooooh no, you can't trust your brain! It's anxious over nothing!" and then I end up being blindsided by the thing I gaslit myself into not worrying about.
If you send me a Google calendar invite, you are morally obligated to delete the email notifications associated with it.
Push notifications are a good reminder. Email notifications are an attack on my peace.
I'm unsure of a lot of things, but I know with certainty when I see a girl with cool hair and a Kanken backpack that I will like her energy. Every time.
Do you ever tell someone "I have anxiety" and they're like, "Oh, yeah, my cousin has that" and it's like, you don't?!?!! You've just heard of it?!?! You've just felt okay forever?!?!? Surely not?!!!??

This morning, after six years, I cancelled my Adobe subscription. Photography, particularly photo editing, changed my life. It feels like throwing away a beloved sweater that I was paying $180/year to keep tucked away in a closet for sentimental reasons.
I truly do not know how old I am anymore.
I was 23 at the beginning of the pandemic.
Am I 45? Am I 30? Am I still 23? Did I regress back into my teens? Don't ask me. I do not know.
after listening to the news this morning 14 yr old says:
“It’s strange that people think that a vaccine that has helped millions of people will kill them but a virus that has killed millions of people won’t.”
I pinched a nerve in my neck and was whining to my roommate about it. She told me that was a natural part of aging. I told her I was having no part of it and would find a cure.
Then she went, "Oh, I have a book on that!" and handed me Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
