Oftentimes i get asked why i 'waste' so much time on a color draft/concept, but doing so helps me visualize the final product and allow for more space in my brain to think and improve on the higher stages shown in the image-

As a kid, I assumed Lew Lehr must be some incredibly famous guy that all adults knew because of how often he was spoofed in cartoons. Turns out, he was a newsreel host in the 1930s that is mainly remembered today through cartoon parodies.
