Today, Bihar has failed development once again over casteism and communalism. Today's electoral verdict has confirmed that identity politics remains at the core of Indian politics. A leader who floated a political party, drawing inspiration from Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi to provide quality education to the children of Bihar, sees his hard-built party now lying in shambles.

He tried to rise above the politics of Kamandal (politics on religious lines) and Mandal (politics on caste lines) and literally pleaded with voters to vote for change, but in vain. Not clinching even a single seat must be the worst nightmare for him. Almost all progressive and intellectual people had pinned their hopes on him and his party, only to see them shattered today.

He has not only lost, but has also sent a message that no other leader or party will dare raise their head above caste and religion. What could have been a watershed moment in the history of Indian politics has turned into a signal of political disaster for all of us. Stoking regional pride and trying to draw voters’ attention towards core issues ranging from education to migration to employment, he had left no stone unturned to defeat the false narrative. This election will remember his efforts to push back non-core issues and put forward issues that genuinely resonate with the masses.

This defeat may dent his political image for a while, and his political acumen might be questioned by some pseudo-intellectuals. This loss attributes more to the local voters who, despite having an option before them, gave the edge to the NDA.

Fallout of this mandate:

1. Migration will continue unabashedly.

2. The scuffle for power between the BJP and JDU will come to light.

3. Allegations of election rigging and vote theft will find resonance in the air.

4. Core agendas will take a back seat.

5. Democratic values will further backslide.

6. Politics of communalism will expand.

7. Freebies will be further distributed, making voters increasingly passive.

8. Cases of lathi-charge and paper leaks might stare at us more intimately than before.

9. Not to forget the unending story of bridge collapses.

Nonetheless, in good spirit, we must accept the people's verdict—though with a heavy heart.

Let me make it clear why @RajatSharmaLive praises Modi government. It is because his counterpart and one of the biggest bootlickers @sudhirchaudhary has got promoted and now runs his propaganda show on DD news. Rajat Sharma is a bit jealous and is on the verge of his retirement so he wants to lick boots faster than ever in order to get promoted in the similar fashion. You may treat this video as a random one but it demands our serious attention. The environment in which this child's upbringing has happened is worrisome. His answers of becoming a RANGDAAR when grown up speaks volume about the illiteracy and the influence crime has on these children. He's barely 10 year old but has solid information of crime allegedly done by Anant Singh. Might be knowing more than the reporter about this crime, but the question remains 'Is he knowing the things suitable to his age?' And all those men standing and laughing on his answers indirectly motivate such culture which is by no means ideal for children. After a few years, he might be found working in a factory for a paltry sum of 12000 to 15000 rupees becoming a victim of out-migration.
SYSTEM HAS FAILED US ALL ONCE AGAIN.
