@romysdad @PufcSimmo14 Woods has spent more time with the physio than the squad and Khela hasn't shown anywhere near enough yet to be considered good recruitment at £500k+. CJ at £350k was gonna be surplus to requirements last January before our defensive crisis as PK and JD were both ahead of him.

Yes we've signed 8 players, not debating that. Our squad needed surgery, and we've bought a load of back up players like Weir, Andeng Ndi, Edwards and Masara in whilst losing JJM, Lisbie, Collins and Lees. #pufc

Nothing quite sums up the direction of Posh at the moment than the fact Matt Garbett hasn't got a squad number, whilst Chris Conn Clarke does.

The squad numbers have been confirmed ahead of the new season. You can register numbers at any point, so players who are currently injured can be added a later date.

@JohnVerrall Its a vicious cycle and a genuine concern. These players aren't posh supporters, so rightly want to do the best for their careers. HL will know he can score 20+ at L1 and get a good move, but will be looking round wondering where the service for those goals will come from.

@PufcSimmo14 @JohnVerrall That's all good but we're three weeks from preseason and our current squad is undeniably going down. We haven't signed anyone who screams first team yet we've lost Collins, Lees, JJM who were three of our best players.

@theposh If this is back up to Alex Bass, I like it. Southend fans very positive about the lad, young, and could potentially develop into a first teamer.

If we're selling Bass to raise funds, I worry for our safety next season as he's one of few in the squad that are league 1 standard.

We arent getting close to play offs because we've got nothing off the bench in attack. Frith, Hayes, Aderoju not good enough or ready for this level. If posh really want promotion, you get a winger and striker in this January. #pufc

Gutted. It felt inevitable with results and performances, but those in charge of recruitment should take the blame for this more than the manager, the team is a shadow of what it was May 2024.

We have scored 1 goal from open play all season, but don't worry, we have loaned a LB, CB, and a teenage ST with 2 senior goals in L2. We now have 3 RBs, 3 LBs, 6 CBs and still no one that can actually score a goal. How inspiring, bring on the 26/27 season already #pufc
