@AlisonL@shawnferris98 you might think that the chance of short handed goals is so small that it doesn't matter but it's just like pulling the goalie when you're behind. over a big enough sample it's worth the risk. I fully expect more penalties if this is implemented, even if it takes ten years to see
@AlisonL@shawnferris98 so yeah you have more incentive to have players goon because if you have an (albeit small) chance of scoring short handed and ending the advantage, that makes taking a penalty explicitly less of a negative
@Accept_Crime_@AlisonL@shawnferris98 yeah exactly. people already complain about reffing but now when your team actually gets a call and your pp ends because the other team scores. people are gonna feel even more screwed by officiating
maybe just state your point like this person did instead of just quote tweeting what I said. it sure would be cool if a respected analyst would do that instead of trying to own me online somehow
