Durban Comedian Begs For Gigs As He Races To Raise R50 000 Or Lose His Home

Durban-based comedian Justice Kubheka has made an emotional plea to the public, asking for bookings and support as he fights to raise R50 000 before June to prevent losing his home.

The Durban University of Technology graduate revealed that following his recent divorce, he is required to pay his ex-wife R50 000 or risk having his house sold.

Kubheka says he has already managed to raise R20 000, but still needs R30 000 urgently.

“The unfairness of life has put me in this position. In truth, I shouldn’t have to be paying this money, but bad things happen to good people,” he said.

He is now appealing to the public for gigs, offering his services for weddings, parties, anniversaries, and church events.

“Please book me or refer me. I promise to deliver a great performance and keep everyone laughing,” he added.

Kubheka has not disclosed details surrounding his divorce, but indications suggest it was not a hostile separation.

Supporters can reach him through his social media platforms under the name Justice Kubheka.
