La propuesta para el complejo residencial «The Oren», proyectado por Stanton Williams, se inspira en la arquitectura moderna que caracteriza esta zona de Londres. El proyecto se resuelve ingeniosamente creando cuatro volúmenes diferentes interconectados, que siguen los contornos naturales del terreno.
El edificio se levanta en una parcela con una pendiente pronunciada, en medio de una densa vegetación que ayuda a mitigar las vistas desde el exterior y el ruido del tráfico de las carreteras vecinas. El tratamiento del entorno se realizó en colaboración con el paisajista Christopher Bradley-Hole, logrando un espacio comunitario que interconecta el edificio y el paisaje.
Dando continuidad al legado y la memoria de la arquitectura moderna del norte de Londres, el estudio de arquitectura Stanton Williams ha sido el encargado de proyectar «The Oren», un complejo residencial para personas de la tercera edad gestionado por la empresa británica Elyan Residences y ubicado en las inmediaciones de Hampstead Heath, en la capital de Inglaterra.
