SLICE ❌
Place a headcover under your right armpit to help maintain the connection between your right arm and your body.
If your right arm separates too early during the backswing, the headcover will drop, the club moves outside, and an out-to-in swing path can lead to a slice.
GOOD✅
Keep the headcover in place as long as possible while maintaining the connection between your right arm and your body.
This helps the arms and body move together, creating a more consistent swing path and reducing slices.⛳
A golf swing is more than just hitting the ball. When you understand the key checkpoints from address to finish, your swing image becomes much clearer. The clearer the image, the more naturally your body moves correctly.
Instead of swinging without a plan, practice knowing what each position should look and feel like. Master the fundamentals, improve your swing image, and your golf will improve too.
Slice mostly comes from poor upper body coil.⛳
Turn your lead shoulder deep over your trail foot, keep pressure inside that foot, and stay balanced. That creates space in transition — an inside path, less slice, more power.
Direction and distance both start with depth of rotation. 🏌️♂️
Gliding from Nairobi to Mombasa on the
SGR🇰🇪
I couldn't help imagining it... a train from Kisoro to Kampala, Gulu to Kampala, one day, in this lifetime hopefully.
Anyway, let me tell you guys about the actual experience, Nairobi to Mombasa is nearly 500km, in about 5 hours.
The train cuts straight through Tsavo, which means and I am not exaggerating, you can spot Elephants from your window seat.
A commute that doubles as a game drive.
The coaches are clean, the seats, I mean check the pics🙌, the whole thing runs on time.
They call it the Madaraka Express, I am going to call it a preview... of what East Africa could be.
Here's a visual for club path:

- In to out
