Research update:- This week I collected photosynthetic data using the LICOR - 6800 in peanuts to check the influence of plant growth regulators on photosynthetic rates of peanuts. Stay tuned for more insights from this research.

Liquid calcium spray was a success today! Two different sources are being used on two different peanut trials- liquid gypsum and liquid agri-cal. We are excited to see the effects of these treatments and potential effects on yield and pod formation! 🥜
🌱 Embarking on my first research adventure! Last week, we completed our cotton trial plantation with an effort to optimize nitrogen fertilization in dryland conditions. Excited to explore the effectiveness of different blends of controlled-release fertilizer and urea in cotton.
While planting peanut trail for testing different inoculants, I got an opportunity to give a brief explanation to the kids from middle school during their farm tour. It’s always exciting to share our research with new generation.@UFIFASWFREC@UF_CropSyst@melinda_thoms
