The Cornell rape case is exactly why slut shaming & stigmatizing consensual casual sex is rape culture. Her consenting to sex with one or two ppl does not mean she’s there for anyone else but slut shaming suggests if you want a threesome you should expect the rest
I’m witnessing an era of women finally choosing themselves. Unfortunately that’s coming with a lot of breakups, divorces, low birth rates and less dating but the girls are happy, free and avoiding autoimmune diseases. ♥️
I’m a firm believer that sometimes you need people to play in your face so you can get back on your bully. Certain things be unfortunate but necessary.
yeah because youre either willingly mischaracterizing/distorting me (ie. a hater) or you genuinely believe im that person in your head and no matter how you explain it, choosing to still be around me is weirdo behavior.
I think ppl get offended when you aren't ashamed of things that they were taught to be ashamed of. They resent you for not caring what everybody thinks
I have to be 100% honest, I don’t think a young woman feeling regret about a consensual experience and crying rape has ever happened. I think the framing is used to excuse the fact that coercive rape exists and is more difficult to grapple with than violent stranger rape
The best way to explain media illiteracy is: people don't engage with art anymore, they strictly consume it. Nobody wants to read into a character's complexity, if someone didn't like the ending to a show suddenly the entire series was terrible; you want to look, not connect.
So, apparently, the Cornell r*pists have tried to dox Jane Doe, but can't remember her. Do you realize what that says? If they can't remember which victim she was?
How many were there?
HOW. MANY. WERE. THERE?!
we often get too caught up in the appearance and insecurities of our own bodies we forget to be thankful that it’s functioning and working for us everyday
