Super proud of the team as well,
God is helping us
WHEN YOU ASK GOD FOR PATIENCE AND WISDOM,
He will put you in the craziest of situations just for you to LEARN.
What an incubation room I'm in,learning and re-learning the things that my foundation were built on in the first place.
Yenyenyen;
Men and Women can always be friends,
Not BEST OF FRIENDS
In my opinion,Friendship isn't a matter of gender,it's a matter of respect and loyalty .
But being best of friends simply shows the extent of the "LOVE" factor in the relationship
That's why most marriage counselors usually use that cliche
"MARRY YOUR BEST FRIEND"
It simply means that best of friends are people that literally share feelings rather than normalized handshakes
And FYI,
Level of bonds are;
Neighbors,
Acquaintance,
Colleagues,
Friends,
Best of friends,
Couples.....
All these are based on my honest takes on the topic,
Selah 💙.
@instablog9ja Most lecturers still do the whole;
5 is for God,
4 is for Me,
3 is for you
I've seen it severally and it has really affected the tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
Some people often feel it's fake or it's fabricated,but it's true
A letter to @iamrenike 💙.
Good afternoon ma. My name is Sutton Sewanu Oluwakunmi, President of the Communication Students’ Association from the prestigious Lagos State University, Ojo Campus. I have always admired the softness, depth, and intention behind your work.
Your art does more than fill a canvas, it tells stories. It affirms identity, celebrates Black womanhood, and captures the beauty of becoming. That quiet strength and gentleness deeply resonates with us.
My team and I recently launched a Book Club to nurture a stronger reading culture within our faculty. As we build this vision, we believe a library should not only house books, it should hold inspiration, reflection, and beauty.
My team and I will be honoured to collaborate with you, to have your masterpieces grace our walls and transform our space into one that feels seen, empowered, and alive with meaning.
It would mean so much to begin this conversation with you ma. Thank you for the light you continue to share through your art.
Beautiful,
In my honest opinion,
Nigerian Food has traveled far and wide and it's one of the reason why certain people love the Country,
Our food and Language have widely spoken for us in places where we can't even imagine.
These days I even see Madarins singing omah lay songs on the road.
And can someone tell me why he is eating the FUFU that way 😭😂.
Chinko Ekun,
Otu gbemidebe.
Today,
I don’t even know how to start this without tearing up. When I heard that story about the pastor standing in church, crying before his congregation, my heart just broke. Not because of shame. Not because of gossip. But because I saw a father, hurting. A man of God, vulnerable, stripped of image, just standing there with tears and truth.
Can you imagine the weight he carried? The expectations. The whispers he probably feared. The pressure to protect his reputation. And yet, instead of hiding, instead of pretending, he chose honesty. He said his 19 year old daughter is pregnant out of wedlock. That alone takes courage. But what shattered me was that he admitted the temptation to quietly fix it just to avoid shame, and then chose not to.
That is what got me. Because if we are honest, shame is loud. Pride is loud. Image is loud. But righteousness is sometimes quiet and painful. He chose to disappoint people before he chose to speak to God. He chose to stand exposed rather than live behind a mask. And I cannot stop thinking about how hard that must have been.
And then, the church stood up for him. They did not stone him with judgment. They did not whisper him out of the building. They honored his honesty. That part made me cry even more. Because this is what the Church is supposed to look like, not perfect people pretending, but broken people holding each other up.
It reminded me that even leaders bleed. Even pastors have children who make wrong choices. Even the strongest families face storms. And maybe real Godliness is not about spotless stories, but about surrendering messy ones to God.
I do not know,
I just feel emotional thinking about it. Because it shows that grace is still alive. That truth can still win over shame. And that maybe, just maybe, we are learning how to love like Christ again.
God help us,
Selah 💙.
@ick_real Water in my opinion,
I feel all governments have the power to give water for free to every citizen of their nation.
WATER IS LIFE and if measured well, it can be as free as Air.
God help us,
Selah 💙.
What an incubation room you went through,This is such a Testament story.
And it serves as a message to others as well,people who believe pastors are the standard instead of God's word.
I nearly cried on the second slide,The shame one would have felt that day.
The persecutions we face as Christians would either MAKE our faith stronger or MAR it.
To everyone reading,
God is with you always,
God is for you,
We all bear the mark of christ after giving our lives to him.
God help us,
Selah 💙.
Something that can be taken anytime.
A book that may never be completely written to the brim.
A fragile soul in an encompassed body that could fade away.
Life;a market place that closes at noon.
A thing that constitutes of material things that are vanity upon vanity.
Such is life 💙.
Honestly,
In my opinion,
Most Nigerians just want to live and be able to feed their families.
Not necessarily to have that glamorous lifestyle but I'll say that, if 55% of most Nigerians had a proper disposable income,they wouldn't even care about a 9-5,as long as everybody for house dry alright.
Watched a vid about this and was just shocked.
Dont get it twisted,RAPE IS RAPE and the system should convict anyone found of the misconduct,but stunts ?.....
Is that the new trend,her friend even said we should send funds to help her.
So it has to be properly planned and in my opinion,the text was written by the Alleged victim herself.
All I'll have to say is we need to learn how to properly analyze situations before proceeding to judge.
In my opinion,
This has happened several times,A fellow Nigerian Entrepreneur even died in 2020 through suicide and was fasely accused of RAPE.
Haba,
I understand emotions and i know the country we live in doesn't have a well established justice system but we need to always analyze situations before we blame.
What if we did a GO FUND ME for her and it was worth millions and she got away with it,
That means we are funding Alleged rape victims ?.Rape should be punishable by the law and I'm not disputing that,but what happens when the emotions of the citizens of a country are swindled on the wrong side.
We need to enact a bill into law specifically for Stunts pulled and Fake Rape claims.
God help us,
Selah 💙.
@ick_real Hey God,
It's your son,
All I ask for is alignment,
The Alignment to be in accordance with your blueprints for me.
I want to work with your plan and I want you to teach me by your word.
In my opinion,
That's enough.
