Let me share some things that get me excited:
1. Changing my wallpaper: this has a strangely therapeutic effect on me.
2. The Windows spotlight images: I love the featured landscapes.
3. Babies’ laughter! I love the sound of their giggles and cackling.
Marriage is actually really frowned upon in Norway. It goes against the traditional concept of "samboere", which means "to avoid committing to the mother of your child".
"the success you've been looking for is hidden in the work you've been avoiding". that quote is crazy because it applies to all forms of gains. financial, fitness, relationships. the life you want for yourself is literally waiting on you, you just have to put in the work first.
This is how we all feel jare, my sister. I also remember that we had a senior who had 100% in Math, English and Chemistry. We had never heard of anyone get 100% in English.
Kudos to you on your exam success!

The Nigerian teenager, who achieved the highest score globally in Cambridge IGCSE English, explains how the exam structure compares to WAEC, noting that WAEC requires more memorisation of outside knowledge.

I haven’t bought a wig in over 3 years yet in the last two weeks I have been imagining myself in a ginger/brown side part wavy unit.
I’m so tempted to get one.
I’d argue that our poverty is why classism exists. Everyone knows we’re poor, so people spend too much time trying to prove they aren’t as poor as the next person.
I love when TikTok has these community-wide conversations. One I’m enjoying right now is of this guy who sends a girl a voice memo after a first date. One can infer she’d shared her deep ambivalence to casual sex. He tells her there’s no point in a second date if she won’t sleep with him.
My mummy did this to us and we cried our eyes out begging her we will never give her headache again😭😭😭.
I will definitely do same to my kids 😂, it works for maybe 1 week.
Mothers>>>>>>🤣🤣
When I'm upset, I vocally count 1-20. It could go on till I feel better. My niece( 3 yrs) wasn't having it with her baby brother (7 months). I saw her counting something that looks like 123. Babe was imitating me, she just wasn't patient enough before she decided to bite him back.
Actually this is a “class action” I can get behind on my own dime. I’ll have a team do some preliminary research and if we decide to pursue, I’ll give an update. We need more public interest litigation.
My mother-in-law was a delight. Treated me with so much love and tenderness.
My husband is Muslim and I am Catholic. The first day I was going to see his parents, I made a new dress, flowing silk dress with matching scarf.
My husband didn't let me use the scarf...
