I have all the set up stuff in mine like calls to library for the common packages I use, so I can just start with loading data straight away.

@CedScherer Not exactly the same but there is a package called randomcoloR that can generate random colours. The function distinctColorPalette can generate n numbers of distinct colours. I sometimes use it in scale_colour_manual to catch if I didn't define enough colours
