Childhood trauma can look like:
Not trusting compliments.
Struggling with self-worth.
Overexplaining everything.
Avoiding conflict at all costs.
Feeling unsafe even in safe places.
Thinking love must be earned.
It doesn’t go away just because we grew up.
Major cheat code in life: Understanding you can reinvent yourself at any time. New habits, new standards, new friend group, new career, etc. There's no rule that says you have to stay the person you've always been. You're allowed to decide––"I'm done being this version of me."
Anxiety isn’t always panic attacks.
Sometimes it’s:
• Overthinking every text
• Replaying conversations for hours
• Feeling like something’s wrong, even when it’s not
• Needing reassurance but feeling annoying for asking
It’s exhausting & invisible.
If you self isolate when things get incredibly tough.
And you push everyone away.
It’s because you had to pull yourself out of every dark place alone.
Because you never knew what it was like to be supported.
Because the only person you had to rely on was you.
Because no one ever had your back.
If you understand this I’m truly fucking sorry.
Am I the only one who thinks #HouseOfTheDragon is utterly boring this season.. the last 2 episodes especially!! Idk I guess I’m always expecting it to be like GOT with all the twists and turns there was but this storyline is just too basic and uneventful.
