I can't relate to this crap because growing up, my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and my big brother taught me that i am no victim... That I'm as good as anyone else as long as i work hard I can achieve anything and I if want strength and confidence I should look inside myself.

Just off the dome, shows that features primarily black casts and dealt with and addressed race but also was well written and didnt treat black people like helpless victims with no ability to function in society without the permission of white folks or needing to commit crimes and immoral acts in order to get ahead in the world.

Yall can keep pretending like Lanterns somehow broke new ground or did something for black people other than setting us back in public perception.

John Stewart didnt need an expanded backstory focused on his race and the plight of his family as black people in America to make him a good character.
