@realDonaldTrump ridiculous -- you are not educated in science so dont pretend you know anything about it. The US has surged out of control only because of poor leadership to get our citizens to follow well known public health guidelines, and ill-preparedness. It's on you 100%. THATS what it is.
Please ACT NOW & REJECT @CAGovernor Newsom's $500 million funding cuts to vital services for people w/ developmental disabilities. Join me in telling our legislators why #WeAreEssential & need protection during #COVID19 at https://t.co/2wqe8nGwi4 #DDSBudget#WeAreEssential RT
Thank you @DrPanMD for your integrity in voicing your concerns that the DDS provider community and consumers and families share, the system is already severely underfunded, we need relief, not cuts, to direct services! @CSLN5Ps #DoNoHarm
@DrPanMD@Senator_Hurtado@senatormelendez
Cutting direct support and home care for our most vulnerable Californians will result in higher cost hospitalizations and preventable loss of essential providers. #DoNoHarm!!
Millions of dollars are being spent every week to fund inactive programs through “retainer payments”. #DoNoHarm to #EssentialSupports actually providing services in a public health crisis. Congregate settings are dangerous for CA's w/ #IDD@senatormelendez
Make no mistake: voting at home is not only a matter of protecting our democracy – it’s also a question of protecting Americans’ health. #HeroesAct#LastWord
We’re facing a recession worse than the Great Recession.
36 million Americans have lost their jobs.
States simply cannot recover from this alone.
Congress must pass the #HeroesAct and provide states and cities the relief they need.
At Assembly #cabudget sub #6, a top DOF official confirmed that *none* of the guv's proposed $14B in trigger cuts would be reversed unless CA receives at least $14B in new funds from the feds. In other words, even if the state receives $3B or $5B, *all* of the cuts stay in place.
