I’m seeing a pattern of increased popularity with Christian rap. This is great. But I need all the non-Christians to not rap about God, the Bible, or Jesus unless they are ready to be Christian and lead Christian lives. Everybody about to become “Christian rappers” so they can get clout. This is exactly what using God’s name in vein means. It’s disingenuous and gross. So please, stay over there, keep rapping about that other stuff, don’t be hopping on the bandwagon unless you are about that life. Non-gangsters shouldn’t rap about gangster shit, so non-believers/non-Christians shouldn’t rap about God/Jesus/the Bible, unless they are living that life.

This is a good rule of thumb across all lifestyles, don’t rap about it unless you living it. Stay authentic. Stop chasing clout.

And the being a complete shithead and doing a 180 and all the sudden being a “hardcore” Christian or any other religious practitioner clearly shows you did some major dirt and you trying to compensate without being accountable.
