Hey Elon, you’ve said the really complicated skilled labor jobs like construction, plumbing, electrical etc will be some of the last ones to go fully autonomous.

I run a small manufacturing business. We sew together thermal insulated swimming pool covers for energy savings. When I develop a new product or process, I figure it out myself, then show my team exactly how I want it done.

For Optimus to be truly useful to me, right out of the gate, I think business owners and our best employees need the ability to VR remote in as an avatar. We could size up the job, demo the exact custom process we want, let Optimus run on its own, and just ping us if it hits something it doesn’t know.

Over time it becomes a real apprenticeship, learning on the job, "cloning" the top, most efficient people, and scaling productivity without managing big teams. This would keep consistent quality, lower overhead, and give better results. This kind of expert training mode would make Optimus way more usable across way more real-world tasks from day one. You probably already thought of it, but just voicing what I would want to see, to buy several right from the start. lol Thank you for making robots for us.

I would love for you to explain how you extrapolate Luke 17 to fit your view. If anything you could support either view from this passage. It doesn’t prove either view.

Matthew 24 doesn’t prove your view either. Only that there are people on earth when Christ returns.

To navigate my objections you have now taken the bizarre position that God does not take out his wrath as part of the Great Tribulation. But that is the whole point! Who opens the scroll and loosens the seals???? Would it be the lion of the tribe of Juda??? Rev 5:5

Rev 3:10 - Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

It doesn’t say I will preserve you through the tribulation. It says I will keep you from it.

Also Isaiah 26:19, zaphaniah 2:3, psalm 27:5.

These all speak of being hidden away. Taken to a place to be protected from. Not sealed through. That is a different group of people.

This concept also fits the type found in Noah’s ark, lot in sodom and Gomorrah, Ruth on the threshing floor, Daniel and the furnace, Isaac after the sacrifice. Etc. we are removed from the danger entirely
