-The discourse around the FR/LG ports being absolute chaos.
-Gooseworks getting harassed by people who think they know her own show better than the person who MADE the show in the first place.

No one hates a series/franchise more than its own fanbase. This is something I have believed for a long time now...and it depresses me to no end to see that proven so damn strongly over the past two days.

@Touyarokii My all-time favorite Legendary, and my 2nd favorite 'mon of all time. Rise of Darkrai did a lot of the heavy-lifting, but even without that, I love my shadowy boogeyman!

The game has its low points and some…fanservice-y designs, but goddamn, the story and main cast are phenomenal.

All three of the Xenoblade games are like this, too, but 2 is definitely the black sheep of the trilogy…but also my personal favorite of the 3.

@Touyarokii Honestly…Kieran. For many of the same reasons as to why he’s also my favorite rival. I love the way his character develops across Teal Mask and Indigo Disk, and his team by the end is legitimately threatening and great challenge for an already challenging campaign. A++

@Touyarokii Yeaaaaaah...the Unovan leg of the anime is (personally speaking) the weakest in many areas for me...this team is absolutely one of them. Good CHARACTERIZATION in his team...but very doodoo in terms of actual strength.

@ChaoticSonicFan Honestly...Silver. As cool it would be to be Sonic or Shadow...I think Silver fits my vibe more. Optimistic, kind-hearted...though maybe a little unaware and awkward sometimes.

...Also psychic powers are cool. I'd love to just...fly everywhere.

It's kind of crazy that we're coming up on the end of 2024 (in my timezone, at least) I'd be lying if I said there weren't some low points, but there were also plenty of high points.

@Touyarokii First one I CAUGHT was a Shiny Magmar in Gold.

First one I FOUND was a shiny Raticate in a different Gold save file…the kid me didn’t notice and just saw a random wild Raticate, so I ran and didn’t think about it again. …Oops.

I just want to say…regardless of what happens…please…PLEASE never lose faith. Even in the most hopeless moments, know that there are people in your life who love and cherish you. Stay strong…the future may be uncertain, but we’ll get through it together.
