2) Free blacks owned slaves at a higher percentage than free whites. Some were benevolent owners; a considerable amount were slave owners for economic benefits - the same reason white people owned slaves.

3) the term chattel slavery is a phrase used to distort from the reality that every human civilization owned slaves and was designed to brainwash people - people seemingly such as yourself - in a misguided fashion to think it was somehow worse. It’s not. Slavery is slavery.
