What a wonderful celebration of culture, heritage, and community at Serena Hills Elementary School!

I had the pleasure of attending the Hispanic Heritage Program and witnessing the pride, energy, and enthusiasm of our students and families.

And can we talk about the boots? 🤠

This week my love for literacy was on full display as I had the opportunity to read Charlotte’s Web with students at one of our elementary schools.

Wake up, Clemson Nation! It’s finally Game Day. Looking forward to connecting with some fellow Clemson Alumni Association Chicago peeps later this evening to watch the game. #ALLIN #ChicagolandClemsonTiger

Happy National College Colors Day! To everyone choosing to celebrate today—wear those colors proudly! And, as expected, I’m representing my undergraduate alma mater, Clemson University 🐅, in my orange Tigers Poncho polo! 🧡💜 Go Tigers! 🐅

Not everyone will understand your journey, support your growth, or celebrate what God is doing in your life. Opposition often appears when you are moving in the right direction.

Totally at peace 🙏🏾

Honored and blessed to be selected as one of the 40 new, aspiring and current Superintendents across the state to participate in the first cohort of the Texas Strategic Leadership Academy of the Texas Education Agency. It will be dedicated to advancing student outcomes in Texas.

Many thanks to our District Curriculum Specialists for leading this meaningful work and to our teachers for their collaboration!

As @_TMSanders said, we don’t have to hire experts when we have them in-house. Today our @SanMarcosCISD K-2 Vertical Team met and they brought it! Continuous improvement for all students 💜
