Hon.@OfficeOfLGJandK should urgently postpone the exam and direct JKPSC. I know aspirants who were literally in tears today. Is it really this hard to take a fair decision for J&K youth? Whether it’s reservation, age relaxation or JKAS postponement #JKAS#JKPSC . INJUSTICE 🥲✈️

Conducting the #JKPSC#JKAS Prelims exam tomorrow would be deeply unfair to aspirants given the prevailing situation. With disrupted air routes, stranded aspirants, unresolved age relaxation issues, and widespread uncertainty, thousands of dedicated aspirants from J&K stand affected.
@OfficeOfLGJandK@CM_JnK@Sunil_SharmaBJP We earnestly urge your immediate intervention to direct JKPSC to postpone the exam until logistical challenges and eligibility concerns are resolved. This is essential to safeguard the aspirations of aspirants and uphold fairness and administrative professionalism.
JKPSC must take cognisance of the extraordinary situation:
• Disrupted air routes
• Students stranded at airports
• Pending age-relaxation decision
• Anxiety and uncertainty across J&K
An exam held under these conditions cannot be fair.
For years, J&K aspirants received age relaxation up to 37 years under open merit. This provision existed till 2021.
Today, with no clear notification from Raj Bhavan, thousands don’t even know if they are eligible.
Exams cannot be held when eligibility itself is uncertain.
Postpone JKAS Prelims.

Aspirants of the JKPSC CCE are caught in a tussle between the LG and the CM. In this freezing cold, they are out on the streets asking for nothing more than basic fairness -age relaxation and a reasonable exam schedule. @MehboobaMufti
Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has urged the JKPSC to postpone the upcoming exam, citing severe travel disruptions caused by ongoing airline issues and the uncertainty surrounding delayed age relaxation approvals. He said the situation has created unnecessary stress for thousands of aspirants and called for a fair, considerate approach to ensure equal opportunity for all candidates.

If the Hon’ble Chief Minister had already sent the file after approval, there was absolutely no reason for any further queries. What was considered correct for the last many years remains correct today. The CM has categorically stated that the exams should have been postponed.
Instead of indulging in petty politics in this dual power centre, LOP Sunil Sharma should use his energy to exert pressure on Lok Bhawan.
Its simple and clear:
1.Relaxation must be granted.
2.Exams must be postponed.
This is the unanimous view of the elected government and every single person in the National Conference.
Anything beyond this from anyone else is a lie or mere whataboutery.
To give the final push to the JKPSC Age Relaxation issue and in solidarity in with the youth of Jammu and Kashmir , this is my message from the Iconic Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.

For months, JKAS aspirants have been pleading for age relaxation, and now flight disruptions have left many unable to reach their exam centres. Students are stressed and anxious. Authorities must intervene urgently. #JKAS#AgeRelaxation@OmarAbdullah@OfficeOfLGJandK
JKAS aspirants have been demanding age relaxation for months, and the recent flight disruptions have made it impossible for many candidates to reach their exam centres on time. These genuine concerns must be addressed at the earliest. @OmarAbdullah@OfficeOfLGJandK
