Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma says the biggest problem is that some foreign nationals in South Africa forget that they are in another country and demand benefits that she believes should be reserved for South African citizens. She says the government must address and fix the law, particularly as the country continues to face high unemployment and a struggling economy.

Haybo! guys, am I the only one bothered by this? I’ve seen two or three interviews where journalists ask foreign nationals whether they intend to leave given the current tensions in SA…. Their response? They’re not going anywhere because this is a free country and the @GovernmentZA will protect them.
Some even claim they came here because everything is free in SA. EVERYTHING IS FREE, they say, while South Africans are taxed at 41%!
What astonishes me is the confidence with which people from countries like Bangladesh speak about our govt protecting them. I’ve never even been to Bangladesh, yet people from there seem more confident in our government’s protection than many South Africans feel…. Haybo!
Where was this protection when South Africans were being killed just two or three weeks ago? How many people died? Where was the reassurance and the same confidence that our government would protect its own people?
Yet these people tell us to our faces that they are not leaving because this is the land of milk and honey, Mandela’s country, where they are free and the government will protect them…. Nah @MYANC@HomeAffairsSA@Leon_Schreib@CyrilRamaphosa@SAPoliceService@GovernmentZA@PresidencyZA@ConCourtSA the sins you’ve committed against us are too many!
Guys please listen to political analyst Prof Teffo outlining it clearly. ANC was warned and submissions were made about this a long time ago but instead, they chose to call minister motswaledi xenophobic.
The Directive from Home Affairs is withdrawn, the Constitutional Court Judgement IS NOT…
If we say we are a Democracy now is the perfect time to see it at play… The Constitutional Court and Parliament cannot be above the will of the people.
The Constitution must work for the Citizens if it doesn’t, then something must be fundamentally wrong with this “Democracy”
This is the time we call for parliament to call a referendum on the Constitution of SA and for South Africa to withdraw from the 1951 refugee convention because it simply does not serve the will of the people of this country.
Enkulu lento yama foreigner the funding behind these people is so heavy , women were being killed left and right and nothing was deployed but the moment these guys are scratched even the army gets sent out . Something is way off
