Just when I was getting excited for the ODIs to begin, the prospect of Dube, Axar & Sundar as death pace hitters & to bowl 20 overs in these conditions is, well, questionable to say the least.

Some interesting names across both formats - Gurnoor, Harsh particularly. Don’t see why you’d really need to sack Pant as VC in Tests. No Axar in ODIs is a bit interesting. Good to see Hardik in ODIs, need him to get in rhythm over the next 12 months before the World Cup.

Carrick’s done pretty much everything that one could’ve asked for when he took over. Yes, there’s concerns over how he may handle more games with Europe, but with no outstanding candidate available, it’s a no brainer to atleast give him an opportunity. Need signings, of course.
