"This time humans are not to blame."
Her head turned to face him. It was nice to see that vampires were in positions of power here too.
"Tell me, what's the situation like in regards to vampire rule over the world. How much of the planet do you control?"
the vampire lord would listen, eyes flickering to the fireplace when he noticed her gaze wandered there.
at the mention of humans beinv blamed for something, he couldn't help but let out an amused snort.
" ah, humans. always to blame for something. "
his gaze returned +
"Not just a different continent. A different world altogether."
After carefully setting her holster aside, she sat in the comfortable chair. When he asked his next question she was silent for a while, her modified gray eyes locked on the fireplace.
"I don't know..."
>>
interesting.
" i see. go ahead. "
he takes a sip of blood in his fancy wine glass, and continues.
" so you truly are not from around here. an entirely different continent as well. so. . . what will you do now? "
<<
She says in an uncertain tone.
"I hope to find my way back. Ludo and all my most trusted guards are probably wondering where I've gone. They will likely blame humans for my capture, maybe even alert the Progenitor Council..."
Her words trail off.
"Maybe I'll explore."
"Oh yes, he'll 'consider it'..."
She couldnt help but chuckle. In her experience that was simple code for 'I'm too afraid to admit my neighbor was right'. No wonder he's been denying her attempts to get into Germany and see thing for herself.
"He always says that."
⋆ˑ The Third Progenitor said he'd consider it, but she'll bring it up again during the next meeting between the nobles in Germany in a few days. Perhaps reports of modernized weaponry's success and developments will make him decide── that was her idea.
"France."
She's equally busy securing the bags, making sure there's no leaking.
"Don't worry, you'll be treated as a guest. Its a very simple arangement, don't abuse my trust and things will work out smoothly."
"Thanks."
She grabbed a few bags of O- blood, since it was the most compatible type.
"Keep this level of quality up and I may hire you to organize the stored blood I have in my territory."
"How easily you sway."
She remarks, crossing her arms.
"But fine, if it's humor you want than go across the boarder into Germany. Lest Karr's many oversights in his 'perfect territory' should be sufficient entertainment for one so arrogant as yourself."
"Ku...Kukukuhaha!!"
The king let out a mighty and hearty laugh, "you think you're brigade has enough to face me? Your humor has brought you your life again."
"Hmmm. Seems I struck a nerve."
She looked at the portals with curiosity as opposed to fear. Vampires couldn't die, only be turned into demons upon being 'killed'.
"If you kill me, the Progenitor Council will hunt you down to the ends of the Earth."
"I never knew you'd like your life to be ended so soon."
In preparation various golden portals were ushered behind the Demigod, blades and godly weapons capable of wiping mountains and cities apart prepped and ready, edging to be released and flung at speeds inaccessible.
Now the Progenitor's gaze fully locked on Gil, her eyes were like daggers.
"Silence, ʟɪᴠᴇꜱᴛᴏᴄᴋ. Before I make you silent."
Usually she held a semblance of respect for humans, but this man was proving to be the exception.
