It would be insane to me that anyone is relying on them to do their work. If you actually work with the tool, it’s very obvious what its shortcomings are. You can accelerate the work, but it’s obvious which parts are vibecoded and which aren’t.

behavior i've noticed in Claude (and Codex to some extent) is they're always trying to do the easiest fix rather than the correct fix, along with that are very pushy to merge

i know better than to listen to them, but makes me wonder what devs who don't are doing

im am this close to crashing out. every AI just does dumb stuff unless you are so specific you may as well code.

it can help for mass migrations once you've already done the shape and exact impl, and have a bunch of boring work.
