#mnwild have their boots on Dallas' neck. Win tonight, and the possibilities are endless.
Lose, and their hands will be around their throats, whether they admit it or not.
Stanley Cup contenders don't let wounded opponents loiter. They put them down.
@RussoHockey@nytimes Any chance the Wild end up pulling the goalie if the game is tied late to try and avoid OT? The path to home ice seems incredibly tough if the Stars even get a point tonight.
@RussoHockey@AnthonyLaPanta@TalkNorthPod Why do ESPN and TNT hate Minnesota? 9:30 ET start is ridiculous for a game played in the central time zone, and it feels like it happens every time we’re nationally televised.
@RussoHockey@AnthonyLaPanta How far do the Wild have to go next season for it to be considered a success? I would imagine that second round is an absolute minimum, and WCF keeps everyone safe. As a fan, I need to see this team in the WCF bare minimum within the next two years.
@crazytrain83@RussoHockey For real. I thought there was some west coast basketball game that was airing and they needed the channel.
@NBCSports please save us in 2029.
@RussoHockey One more additional thought. If Larkin doesn’t bury the puck, could a smart Wild player then snag the puck and take it down the ice for a breakaway while everyone celebrates?
@RussoHockey Looking forward to the dissection of this on the next pod haha. This begs the question, at what point on a goal does play actually and officially stop if no whistle is blown? It’s something I never thought I’d actually need to think about.
