@xwxlrus@AlexHarrison12 Organizations used to manage their pitchers better. They had higher pitch counts, but didn’t have them emptying the tank throwing with full velocity & spin rate. They paced themselves. That‘s why severe arm injuries weren’t as prevalent and why “movement” was less.
@AlexHarrison12 The old school pitchers were capable of throwing with the same velocity. They just didn’t. Starters were expected to go deeper into games. Relievers were often expected to pitch multiple innings. And most of all, teams/coaches didn’t want to blow out arms like they do now.
@NorCalDR@nyjetshistory I remember that t-shirt.
I had quite a few of those animated tees back in the day. Still have my Michael Jordan, along with the “dynamic duo” Will Clark and Kevin Mitchell — if you can believe that! lol
@grizgriff@SamHerderFCS You clearly haven’t been keeping up on current events, and are super late to the party.
Yes, they have a full 12-game schedule and, yes, they belong to a conference. An FBS conference at that.
Time to climb out from under the rock you’ve been hiding under.
@tristi_r14 The KINGS will happily accept the NBA gifting them a #1 overall pick, too, despite long odds & after agreeing to one of the worst trades in NBA history.
If an NBA bailout is on the table as it was for the Mavs — the KINGS would have direction too.
What a disingenuous take.
@DamienSimic@BROganschaub@tristi_r14 Know what you’re talking about when trying to correct someone. They did get a draft pick in the Fox trade.
And Hali was traded for Domas, who they still have.
@ChiefsFan382@274sport@PeteNokos_ Doesn’t a player have to be in the transfer portal before other programs can start trying to lure them away with NIL?
I highly doubt Julian Sayin is entering the portal any time soon. Why would he leave a perfect situation, let alone for a program like MSU? Utter nonsense.
@NorCalDR@iAnonPatriot@MillerLite@CoorsLight I've never been able touch Miller anything. But that stems from my first ever hangover then seeing a Genuine Draft in my pops fridge. :)
Count me in the "aren't drinking beer like they used to" crowd. I just can't handle it like I once could. Perils of aging.
@NorCalDR@iAnonPatriot@MillerLite@CoorsLight IMO all the old school mainstream brands are awful. Bud, Bud Light, Coors, Coors Light, Miller, Corona, etc.
I haven't touched any of that since I was in my 20's, maybe early 30's. For me, it's almost exclusively microbreweries.
I will indulge in Newcastle on draft, though.
@paydirt111@NFL_DovKleiman@RichCimini Penthouse? I realize the Colts are having a good season thus far, but they’ve been a .500 or worse team for the previous 4 seasons. Daniel Jones had been a pretty average QB through 6 seasons until now.
Don’t you think it’s a tad early to completely swallow the kool aid?
@NorCalDR@MLFootball@AKinkhabwala I don’t see or hear anything fantastic about this sideline reporter, but I also don’t see or hear anything to be overly sensitive about either.
People just have too much time on their hands to be upset about anything and everything.
@NorCalDR The only thing the DEMS excel at is gaslighting. Always accusing others of doing the exact things they do.
Not only did Trump dodge a bullet, this country dodged a bullet avoiding the worst candidate of all-time. One that never received a single primary vote.
@findro_89@sagesteele They rarely have their priorities straight.
I don't condone cancel culture or censorship of non-violent speech, but I'm also not going to defend or empathize with those that are now having to suffer the consequences or otherwise feel the effects of the culture they put in place.
@sagesteele Typical behavior of the Hypocritical Party.
What they do to others is somehow always justified & warranted. However, when what goes around comes around, they cry like teen-aged children.
@NorCalDR The overwhelming majority of the mainstream media is just like Kimmel. Where oh where was Ben Stiller while conservatives lost their jobs/livelihoods over their beliefs & speech to say "this isn't right"?
@NorCalDR Numerous people have been assassinated for their political/religious views or for simply being the CEO of a company yet what gets the likes of Stiller all riled up is someone losing their job for similar reasons. A practice they started & defended, no less. Go figure.
