True story:

Kids kept blasting house-wide announcements on Alexa. One “fart joke” message got stuck on an Amazon tablet.

Result? That tablet silently DoS’d our whole home network with UDP floods.

Network crawling, buffering, Xbox dying. Claude + OPNSense logs nailed it instantly.

Lesson learned the dumb way 😂

How? I review the changes, asking for modifications or clarification. AI assisted programming not vibe coding. It generates code I understand based off my architecture.

If you want to vibe code (which I would guess is Musk's vision) then I somewhat agree.

I am trying to envision troubleshooting a production issue that needs to be fixed ASAP. Would the ops team start vibe-coding a fix? Maybe no more ops team just vibe coders? Who vibe codes the fix? Especially if you don't know the exact problem (other than user complaints) and you can't look at the source code for direction.

@ibuildthecloud Did something similar, used MCPs to get user tickets and create agent tasks to plan, edit and review, then open a PR for my review. Wasn’t bad but there’s a lot of domain knowledge within a big company that AI knows nothing about. Next phase, give it domain knowledge.
