My dear brother Donald Duke @Donald_Duke,
Some years ago, you and I travelled along the stretch of the coastline where this road now runs, and I clearly remember your praise for the vision behind it. That is why your recent comments surprised me.
Yes, the Coastal Highway is expensive. We agree on that. But nothing of lasting value in this world is cheap or free. Great nations are built by leaders willing to make bold, costly investments that will serve generations yet unborn.
Mr. President committed to funding this project, and he is keeping that commitment. There is no funding shortfall. The work is progressing, and the quality of construction is second to none.
When Governor Douye Diri commended the road, he was not speaking as a local champion; he was speaking as a statesman who recognises infrastructure of international standard when he sees it. I agree with him completely.
Donald, I understand that you are running for president, and that your statement is political. That is the nature of the season, and I respect your right to make your case to Nigerians. But we must be careful never to undermine a project of national importance, or the President delivering it, simply for political advantage.
When mankind went to the moon, it was neither cheap nor free. But it was necessary. So is this road.
Pls Nigerians, Tinubu means well for us. He is intentional. He's making the very difficult decisions that should have been made several years back. Tough but necessary decisions.
Imagine if subsidy had been removed in 1999.
Subsidy removal is the biggest single anti-corruption move.
@xidengames Lol, was just laughing. It’s a wonderful feeling seeing characters that represent our culture and backgrounds. There are rooms for improvement however. Big ups
What has Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu done for the common man?
He increased the minimum wage for the common man.
He established NELFUND to help the children of the common man access higher education.
He increased pensions for our senior citizens.
He improved wages for our military personnel.
He channelled more funds to local governments, bringing more resources to the grassroots where the common man lives.
He also increased allocations to states, giving them more resources to build roads, schools, hospitals and other essential infrastructure for the benefit of ordinary citizens.

No LG in Nigeria currently receive less than 500 million monthly from FAAC.
What are this LGs doing with this funds, they are not visible, we need to be asking questions, there are LGs that receive 3 Billion monthly.
The way Solomon Dalung criticises the President, sometimes reducing him to a caricature, one might be tempted to forgive anyone who forgot that Dalung himself served as Minister of Youth and Sports in this country under the late President Buhari.
His tenure was so abysmal that I struggle to recall any gains made in Youth and Sports Development, so much so he was not returned for a second term, despite boasting that he would not be removed.
Then there is Rauf Aregbesola, aka Baba Halfsa, whose most memorable contribution as Minister of Interior was announcing public holidays promptly.
Indeed, empty barrels make the loudest noise.

@abdull_fatahu@Waspapping_ And dear Atiku supporters, may Almighty Allah SAW run your lives the way Atiku ran public assets when he was a VP. I dare you to say an AMIN
@Munnirsanda@Archh_angel I don’t expect much from an animal and a sympathizer of terrorism like you. You’re an enabler and my prayer is for the terrorists to find your dumb ass. Bastard

@Godblessa4@Munnirsanda@Archh_angel You sound so dumb and stuoid. When Orire pupils were abducted, ppl of that region were audible to the situation until the victims gained freedom. But an animal like you want the president to go into the bushes to rescue abductees when the ppl in that area are complacent. Fool
