Official Statement from TopFragg

After speaking directly with CMG, we'd like to address our previous statement.

CMG has informed us that the individual involved was not affiliated with their staff and that the account in question was never banned from their platform.

During the livestream, we were led to believe otherwise, and we reacted based on that information without properly verifying the facts.

That was our mistake, and we take full responsibility.

We sincerely apologize to CMG for the accusations and any unnecessary negativity our statement may have caused.

As a platform, we believe in professionalism, accountability, and fair competition. Those standards apply to us just as much as anyone else.

We appreciate CMG taking the time to clarify the situation.

Respectfully,
TopFragg Management 🤝

[TopFragg @_Topfragg]

@9Simz Please dm us, so we can give this in private.

[TopFragg @_Topfragg]

Thanks for clarifying. He presented himself as a CMG admin, which is why we referred to him as one. If he isn't affiliated with CMG, we're happy to correct that.

However, that still leaves one question unanswered.

He asked for the TopFragg CEO's CMG username, said "one moment please," and shortly afterward announced that the account had been banned.

Can you clarify whether the account was actually banned from CMG and, if so, why?

We're not interested in spreading misinformation. We simply want transparency about what happened.

[TopFragg @_Topfragg]

@CDCIntel Just wait, we got yall.

[TopFragg @_Topfragg]

@RainDMDL @vvduke6 @Arkfrfrr It was a pleasure watching you guys compete!

@kycerss @AbduFuse

[TopFragg @_Topfragg]

@kycerss @AbduFuse We'll look into temporarily removing the streaming requirement for console players and see how things go. Our goal is to keep matches fair without making things unnecessarily complicated for players. We appreciate the feedback!

[TopFragg @_Topfragg]

@kycerss @AbduFuse You don't have to livestream. You can simply record your gameplay and upload it to YouTube if needed. These requirements are in place to protect competitive integrity and ensure fair matches for everyone.

[TopFragg @_Topfragg]

@Perfvrm @Rznicy Is this you? OOPS 😅

[TopFragg @_Topfragg]

@1ceytt GGs. Thank you for playing, we hope to see you on our next tournament!
