Sacramento County’s homeless population nearly doubled in 3 years, and is now higher than SF.
On any given night, there are 9,278 homeless ppl in the Sac County, up from 5,570 in Jan 2019.
Up to 20,000 people will experience homelessness over the course of the year.
.@GavinNewsom and the Legislature have agreed to eliminate all civil assessment debt, but does not fully eliminate the fees themselves, keeping civil assessment fees at a maximum of $100 instead of $300.
