The best business advice I know is simple. Start before you have much money.
Mark Cuban once gave advice along those lines. Start with as little money as you can. Use your savings. Start with almost nothing if you have to.
A lot of people wait. They wait for more money. They wait for an investor. They wait for the perfect time to begin.
While they wait, someone else starts with what they already have.
They sell one thing, one person buys.
Then they learn something. They make a mistake. They fix it. They try again.
Slowly, they learn what people want. They learn what people will pay for. They learn how to sell. They learn how to run the business.
The person who started with little money now has something the person who kept waiting does not. Experience, customers, proof.
That is why starting small can be so powerful.
Your first goal is not to build a big business. Your first goal is to find one person who will pay you. Find that person. Then do it again.
