@JacobsBen The issue with the PL now is that the lower clubs make so much money, they don’t need to sell assets like they used to. So they can ask for what they want for players. Prices some players out of dream career moves, which is a shame. I can see release clauses becoming more common
@Liddellpool We need to move on from this guy… feels like a saga and we need loads of lads adding to the squad this summer. If RBL ain’t willing to sell, then go get someone else.
Literally had never heard of the lad 12 months ago. Loads of good footballers out there.
@AnfieldEdition@gbsans I would sign him on a 12 month deal.
If Iraola can get a tune out of him whilst Heki is out - and to rest Isak, then happy days.
If it doesn’t work out, he can walk away next summer
@LFCTransferRoom Midfield needs an overhaul to get the legs Iraola needs
Out: Mac Allister, Jones, Endo, Elliott
In: Wharton, Scott, Lamine Camara, Mamadou Sangaré
4 strong options to add to Grav and Szobo
@David_Ornstein@TheAthleticFC Wild figures been thrown about. But I’d rather go for this lad, and end up with Barcola was a PSG cast off to make way for this lad.
Value in the market elsewhere, but need this marquee singing
@AnfieldSector@JamesPearceLFC You can get a decent CB option for free, including one the played for the new manager last season in this very league. And would take pressure off the two young CBs as they settle into first time life at the club. It’s a no brainer, yet the brains at the club let him go to Spurs
@TheAnfieldWrap Just feels like we are giving ourselves more to do, in a summer when we have lots to do.
If Iraola is the man, then getting the CB who is on a free (Marcos Senesi) makes tons of sense. Free, knows how the manager plays, experienced.
If Luis Enrique thinks he’s done all he can at PSG… LFC should be doing all they can to bring the man to the club this summer… my number 1 choice.
If not, then they shouldn’t be talking to Nagglesmann to see if he’ll take the job after the WC
3rd choice = Iraola
