John Mateer has a running style that reminds Brian Bosworth of a Pro Football Hall of Famer.
The Boz told The Rush - “He reminds me a little bit of Barry Sanders, where he stops and goes lateral.”
@bdavidsonlamb1@BrianBeckcom Whatever helps you cope brother I support it cause I would be pissed too but schloss’s track records shows he wins everywhere he’s been and I’m betting the over he will do the same at Texas
@Texastwostepp He’s putting himself in a position that if he doesn’t win it all and soon the donors are going to tell him to kick rocks. You can buy yourself time if you’re at least recruiting like the brand Texas should be but right now he’s just making the job hard on himself
@logan_xo_@schooner83@HighAubie420@BarrettSallee Logan brother, Texas won a national championship in 05’ played for another one in 09’ and just for shits and giggles was in the 4 teams playoff just last season. They have a more recent national championship appearance than 3 of the 5 teams you listed my boy
@cincosdf@CarterKarels Could he not be a good guy sure but I would say there isn’t a lot of evidence to support that assumption, I can see why as an Aggie you would feel that way because if I was in y’all’s spot my emotions would probably align but reality is he’s probably a decent person brother
@cincosdf@CarterKarels We’re talking division one athletics and a coach that has been doing this for over 20 years. You’ve played sports I’m sure, so you know that your not having the kind of success he’s had in his career over that time frame without being both a good coach and a good guy
@cincosdf@CarterKarels I think there is a lot that go into why they wouldn’t follow him. One reason would be how shitty it would be to have all your boys just miss out on a natty and then get split up the following season another reason could be just logistics of roster construction for both schools
