In Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco state, five men have already been found tied to lampposts. Some had their mouths taped, showed signs of beating, and stolen motorcycles were left next to them. Locals have dubbed the vigilante the “Mexican Batman.”

Police said that at this time the tied men are being treated as victims rather than criminals.

🇫🇷 North African migrant gang beats 17-year-old Louis to death in premeditated ambush in Narbonne, France

Louis has died after three days in an induced coma. He was found unconscious with critical head injuries on a construction site following an ambush by a group of five North African migrants.

The attackers filmed the cowardly assault, showing repeated kicks to the head and blows while mocking the dying teenager. They left him lying motionless on the ground.

His body was found with multiple facial injuries, bruises, and bleeding from his nose and mouth.

Five suspects, including three minors, have been arrested. They face charges in connection with the killing, which authorities are investigating as a possible targeted ambush or act of vengeance.

Louis lived in a foster home where he had been placed by Child Protective Services.

The Restore Britain candidate for Greater Manchester mayor, Marlon West, has a daughter who is a rape gang survivor.

Marlon would often spend his evenings driving in search of his daughter until three or four am while having work the following day.

He often reported her missing to the police, who would sometimes turn up to his house many hours later. On one occasion he saw footage of the police saying not to bother even waking him.

A multi-agency risk management meeting was eventually convened with children’s services and the police’s Missing from Home team. While the meeting was ongoing one of the police officers in attendance told Marlon to stop reporting his daughter missing.

Marlon challenged this which resulted in the police officer shouting at him in front of all in attendance. The officer has since been dismissed.

The social worker and manager present did not intervene but privately acknowledged he was right to continue to report his daughter missing. They refused to launch a formal complaint against the officer.

After another missing episode Marlon was able to trace his daughter to a specific property. Despite repeated calls and reports of men entering the property both police and social services failed to remove her or issue an abduction warning notice.

His daughter was later found to be the victim of criminal exploitation, including drug supply, prostitution and being forced to dig up a firearm. These acts were directed by the older woman amongst others.

At this point the impact on Marlon was catastrophic. He was physically exhausted, anxious, depressed and lived in constant fear. He was attacked by masked individuals in his home with the police response delayed and dismissive.

Despite his repeated attempts to help his daughter, he has experienced many instances of violence from her as a result of the trauma and grooming. He has experienced many assaults, received black eyes and had to sleep barricaded in his room.

Marlon has since dedicated his life to stopping the rape gangs.

He has done more than any politician to fight this evil.
We are proud to back him to be the mayor of Greater Manchester, where he can end the rape gangs in the region for good.

A legal study commissioned by the Dutch government has concluded that forcing universal age verification on all users would be disproportionate and clash with the fundamental rights of both children and adults.

The researchers, at the University of Amsterdam, say privacy and freedom of information are at stake, that even the strictest checks are easily bypassed with VPNs or an adult's help, and that the EU's Digital Services Act already requires platforms to make age assurance effective, so rushing to mandate more is risky.

This matters because the Dutch coalition wants a European minimum age of 15 with "privacy-friendly" verification. The study is a caution to every government treating ID checks as the fix, the same fight is playing out in many countries right now.

Spain’s Supreme Court has sentenced former Transport Minister José Luis Ábalos to 24 years behind bars for his central role in the major corruption scandal known as the “Koldo Case”.

Ábalos, once a senior Socialist Party (PSOE) figure and close ally of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, was convicted of playing a key role in a criminal organization, bribery, embezzlement, and influence peddling.

Here's a story about an Irish-Israeli hero: Michael Flanagan (Peleg) to start your week. More people need to know his story!

He was born in Mayo in 1926, and at 16, he enlisted in the British Army as a tank mechanic. During World War II, he saw combat in the Normandy invasion and took part in the liberation of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945, an experience that profoundly shaped his life.

Michael Flanagan and Chaim Herzog, an Irish-born Jew who would later become President of Israel, were both present during the liberation of Bergen-Belsen, although it is unclear whether they ever met.

In 1947–1948, during the final years of the British Mandate in Palestine, Flanagan was stationed with British forces in Haifa. Having witnessed the horrors of the Holocaust firsthand, he felt deep sympathy for the Jewish people and for the emerging State of Israel. At the same time, Arab leaders had rejected the UN partition plan, and neighbouring states were preparing to invade, openly threatening another catastrophe for the Jewish people. Faced with this reality, Flanagan made a courageous choice.

He defected from the British Army alongside fellow Irishman Harry MacDonald and reportedly several others, 'borrowing' two Cromwell tanks and delivering them to Israeli forces in Tel Aviv. These tanks became among the first armoured vehicles of what would soon become the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

It is also worth noting that Flanagan saw parallels between Jews fighting for a nation-state and the Irish struggle for independence a generation earlier. He later converted to Judaism and continued to serve Israel as an IDF reservist in major conflicts, including the Sinai Campaign, the Six-Day War, and the Yom Kippur War.

He passed away in Canada on January 26, 2014, the day before International Holocaust Remembrance Day. After emigrating, he remarried following the loss of his first wife. His body was returned to Israel for burial beside his first wife and child.

In recognition of his extraordinary contributions, Flanagan was honoured by the Israel Defense Forces for his role in its formation. He also received a Medal of Valor from the Simon Wiesenthal Center in the United States for both his World War II service and his support for Israel's birth.

His story is both inspiring and heartbreaking. It reminds us that many Irish people were once deeply sympathetic toward the Jewish people and supportive of the emerging State of Israel. Over time, political and social attitudes shifted, and the path that followed has indeed been a sad one.

Flanagan's life invites us to think critically about these changes. Why do allegiances shift so dramatically? How can support turn into opposition? Who shapes these narratives, and for what purposes? These are questions worth examining honestly and carefully.

Starmer resigns - he has been a truly disgraceful Prime Minister.

I do not believe him to be a good man or a patriot.

He has deliberately and rapidly accelerated the destruction of our Britain, of our home.

History will not remember him kindly, nor should it.

I sat in Parliament, looking him in the eye, listening to him attempting to justify his decision to block a national inquiry into the mass rape of young British girls.

I will never forgive him. For that, and so much else.

What comes next, I do not know.

Whatever that is, Restore Britain will be ready to offer the British people a democratic route out - a better way, the only way.

But Starmer is gone.

And that is a good thing.
