@glenncsavage argues: in the last 20 years there's been an explosion of evidence telling educators 'what works' (eg. Visible Learning) but this has not led to improved results. Desire for evidence can lead to a search for the magic bullet, and oversimplified solutions.
@glenncsavage says a new wave of reform is required to assist how we work with and perceive 'evidence'. Instead if claiming to know what works, let's ask "what might work my school school"? Let's be contextual and let's be specific about what we view as 'evidence'. #VASSP2023
