You won't even begin to understand the level this guy helped me. He was the big brother I needed. I read his book multiple times, it worked as a base level philosophy for me on top of which I have built myself.

Few egs of what I learnt from him:

* Admire never follow.

* There are no heroes, everyone is just a human with flaws & biases. This advice helped me talk with people who I thought were way above my league as equals. ( Founders, negotiating with employers etc )

* You can do anything. People share problems with him, in so many videos he goes to first principle & ask the question of "why not?" & that's what I do now.

When I was not able to find a job, I went to fundamentals - what even is the concept of job. It's just someone paying you for you helping in value generation. That led me to building my products. If no one will give me money, I'll generate it on my own.

* Getting back up from the rut: You loose your momentum, getting back up feels very hard. His videos helped me to do that & continue to do so.

* Stop putting women on a pedestal: One of the best advice, I started treating everyone same. Realized most women in my college were actually dumb AF.
Helped me save my time.

* Work on data & Evidence: this helped me negotiate my salary, gave me confidence to ask more, now applying same to my products.

If we were to put people on scale of how much value they generated & how much they impacted other people's lives. He would be leading the charts.
