The word #community has never been abused so much in its life.
Every #NFTProject thinks they have the best community under the meta sun but what does it mean to have a community? What makes up a good v.s. bad community?
Let's explore🧵👇
#NFT#NFTCommunity
Martial arts + manga storytelling = a community built to inspire strength and creativity.
I’m starting a project where we build a story, helping shape characters, plot, and more. Join early to be part of something big, and let’s create a movement!

Seeing tons of air drop talks in NFTs.
Let me just share some wisdom/experience.
The true value of an NFT is the community/culture.
There is no better way to attract and KEEP the wrong people to a project than by focusing on airdrops.
Its simple : If peoples motivation to join and buy becomes "get free money"....They do not care about the project. They care about getting paid for existing.
They will not ad to the project. They constantly demand it find new ways to pay them for holding. The only conversation they will bring will be "wen more money".
They will fud and savagely chain reaction dump when the free money stops (which it HAS to during bear/calm markets).
It also turns CURRENT holders from project focused holders into "wen money" focused holders.
It then chases OUT all your best members who are already rich and or were there out of love for the project as the community changes to well fare degenerates.
I can't make it any more clear, its just simply the most effective way to "poison the water hole" of a project.
The power of a project COMES from like minded culturally similar people being in a community and uniting over a project.
This absolutely goes out the window when "airdrops" come into play and people who give zero shits about the culture join to get drops.
Be careful and take requests for this in your community with a grain of salt. It's not sustainable, its ruins the community and there are 1000 better ways to get good holders VS bribing them.
@dangwood87@mrkennybones@CrowCryptos@ZssBecker It's helped me a lot so it's hard to deny that it works. I found that it's more relatable to read the shortcomings of a great man like Marcus but to also see what he said and did to overcome them.
Even though it's been centuries I still think the lessons hold a lot of weight
@dangwood87@mrkennybones@CrowCryptos@ZssBecker Fantastic example. The man who could live free even though aoemoene else owned him.and abused him.
Later became the teacher to the emperor of Rome Marcus Aurelius.
What a fantastic story that man.
This is why I like the Stoics. Real people, real problems, real solutions
@mrkennybones@dangwood87@CrowCryptos@ZssBecker Congrats brother. I can see the light of the end of my tunnel as well at 33 years of age.
Time will pass us by no matter what we do so we might as well play the game to the best of our abilities.
@mrkennybones@dangwood87@CrowCryptos@ZssBecker Like I said brother.
People set out on hard journeys knowing it will be hard. Then they forget that the journey they set out on was never an easy one and give up the it gets hard.
But if you constantly remember. I wanted this thing, I knew it would be hard, this is what hard is
@dangwood87@mrkennybones@CrowCryptos@ZssBecker Exactly my point.
And when it ends I highly doubt you will be worried about dumb shit like the caffeine addiction that has you so stressed out and sad whenever you don't have coffee.
People don't step outside there bubbles to look at how much worse it can get
@mrkennybones@dangwood87@CrowCryptos@ZssBecker The thing is people want the attitude without the hardship and that's where they fuck up.
Becoming someone tough means you need to go through tough shit. It's that simple.
It was always gonna be hard and you knew that. So you just need to remember this is what hard feels like.
@mrkennybones@dangwood87@CrowCryptos@ZssBecker I learned through watching my dad so we still learn through proxy.
Simply being near an adult or anyone that can push through problems like that is someone we can learn from even if it's not direct teachings.
You admired it and sought it out.
@dangwood87@mrkennybones@CrowCryptos@ZssBecker I think it was Marcus Aurelius that said "a fire turns everything into brightness and light"
We have to become the fire. Everything thrown at you can be turned to fuel.
It's not always easy. But it's possible.
And if it's possible then you should always try
@dangwood87@CrowCryptos@mrkennybones@ZssBecker Or with the next generation.
I can guarantee my kids will not have this mindset because I'm showing them how to work through it.
It's these fucking soft parents that have allowed their children to grow up with a garbage victim mindset.
It's one of my biggest peeves
@mrkennybones@CrowCryptos@ZssBecker I'm still grinding. But paying bills isn't as big as a problem as living in Palestine you know
People worry to much about there little problems and don't realize how shity life can get
It can literally always get worse especially if you let it so fight no matter what you feel
Wishing everyone a happy lunar new year! 🐉
To celebrate this year of prosperity we're hosting a little giveaway.

@CrowCryptos@mrkennybones@ZssBecker Also it's worse now.
People back then had real danger to worry about and I'm sure they didn't think about there depression and anxiety as much as people do today simply because they can't pay bills.
Not every traumatic experience is real enough where you need help. Most aren't.
@CrowCryptos@mrkennybones@ZssBecker You don't distract from them brother. But what good will it do me to focus on my depression?
I notice it and keep on moving. You think it's egotistical that we choose to move forward and achieve rather than go to a therapist to cry about it?
Your insane m8. Your choosing sad.
