Taehyung’s live (2)
I actually have some dessert right now... but I’m going to eat it later...
Ah... the piano? You liked it?
I was practicing here.
Everyone, please go to sleep quickly.
Madrid is really too hot. So you could say I/we almost got into big trouble.
I’ll come again next time. Because I need to go wash right now.
Later, um... no... next time... next time.
Not now. I have to wash. Go to sleep quickly. Quickly...
Don’t do that... right now... ah, no. Go to sleep quickly.
Now, everyone, it’s 3 a.m. for Korean fans. They should go to sleep quickly. Of course, I sleep at 5 a.m., but still they should be “good children of a new country” (*means go to bed early and wake up early).
In a bit, there’s a World Cup (game), and I’m planning to watch that and then go to sleep.
Maybe... I mean... I’ll watch the live broadcast, and there are probably ARMYs watching the live broadcast too, right?
Well... let’s... do play-fair. South African ARMYs. It’s unfortunate (*sorry) but we’ll take the win. Sorry. Anyway, I’ll get going now. I’m going to wash.
🐯 my hands were shaking
👤No, you looked completely relaxed
🐯 so I was like “wait…”
🐯 I was more nervous than performing
🐯 just make me perform on stage instead!
You can see his hands were shaking, he did well 🥹
I've always wondered about Taehyung's strategy on completing this task perfectly. Did you notice? He only kept his eyes on the plate on the right while climbing the steps. He didn't look back and forth between two plates.
Turns out it's the perfect game plan. By locking his gaze on one side, he gave himself a steady visual anchor. That single-point focus meant his brain wasn’t busy juggling two moving targets, which often leads to overcorrection. Instead, his body relied on its natural sense of balance (proprioception) to keep the other plate steady without needing to watch it. If he had shifted his eyes back and forth, he would have introduced tiny, unnecessary adjustments that could have made the bar wobble.
A perfect demonstration of how single-point focus can outperform alternating gaze when it comes to balance. Oh, he's brilliant! 🤩
