Always hurts. Whether we are really good and lose (2015) or up and down all year with poor basketball IQ like this year …it always hurts. But that being said, I’ll never trade it for anything! What it brings to our lives, the friends made and the ties that bind… I will never trade the passion but rather look for a way to make it better. Yes, make the whole journey better for people in whatever way possible that are in this same boat of hope! Been there for the lows and the highs, in person, and it’s worth it! It’s WORTH IT!
The frustration and anger and confusion that occurs every season, if you can maintain composure and as level as a head as possible while ensuring and maintaining a standard (yes i understand that begs questions I don’t have answers for but not the point here, we will find a way) …it will pay off one day, and THAT day is worth it. (Read the poem IF by Kipling for understanding the composure part, trust me I want to be as fiery as anyone but that helps)
Finding friends and folks to share and spread the #BBN with has been one of the best blessings in life…! I’ll be firmly in my seats and loudly cheering at next Midnight Madness. Every time, every year. We shall all return!! Together!!
That technical foul on Mo Dioubate is the worst technical foul that I've EVER seen.
EVER.
Doug Shows should never be allowed to officiate another game after that. Horrendous.
