Amazonian myths say that long ago, a man & a woman went fishing. They went too far, causing a inundation that submerged them & all people.
2 men escaped the flood, & feeling lonely, they made people out of mud. The mud-people become alive, & with the two men formed a new society

The aim for our two weeks in Estirón was to animate traditional stories/histories/myths (depending on who is translating).
We started by meeting los sabios, the older generations of the community.
