@Alex732086931@femlovesfooty@Maceroni2000 Your empathy is not with the guy who nearly had his head cut off and “serious injuries to his eyes”. Have a word with yourself.
We are now in a weird era where a guy gets publicly shamed for running his sprinklers on a Tuesday, while a data center the size of a Costco quietly drains a reservoir so AI can generate a picture of your cat as a medieval knight. And the data center gets a tax incentive for it.
@CalvLyfeson I’m not sure if you’re being serious or not. I don’t know you. He wasn’t good enough for Liverpool. It’s as simple as that. No overthinking. He was ultimately out of his depth. It is the correct decision. I’m sure he’s a lovely man etc etc.
Bill Gates is very interested in your water...
While no one was watching...Bill Gates, BlackRock & Nestlé have quietly teamed up.
- Gates is buying up huge tracts of farmland sitting directly over major aquifers (giving him control of groundwater).
- BlackRock is pouring billions into water infrastructure, utilities & water-related investments.
- Nestlé is extracting millions of gallons from drought-stricken areas to bottle & sell for profit.
- Their former CEO Peter Brabeck-Letmathe said, "water is NOT a human right."
Control the water → control the people. 💧
This is about ownership of the most essential resource on Earth.
You'll want to be sitting down for this bit.
Water companies are currently £82.7 billion in debt, have paid themselves £85 billion in dividends, leak over a trillion of litres of water per year, dump sewage for almost 4 million hours per year, have been convicted of over 1,200 criminal acts since 1989 and an average of 35% of your bill goes on nothing but paying more interest and yet more dividends.
And not a single company has ever lost their operating licence. 👇
@JimK10131@JamesPearceLFC I empathise a little, then I remember the only reason we’re getting CL is because we are less shit than Chelsea, Villa, Spurs etc. Hardly the gold standard benchmark…
@thomsonchris@zacevans90@stats_feed I live in Ireland. Take a walk down Abbey street, Dublin. Forget all the nationalists on here, there lies your answer...
@NASAhistory My Grandmother worked at Johnson Space centre back in the 80’s. When she retired, she was presented, amongst other things, with signed and framed NASA photographs - including these two. One sits in my office to this day.
